The Enzyme therapy treatment from DMK
Danne Montague King says DMK Enzyme therapy treatments are designed to rebuild the skin’s core strength to make it healthier and more vibrant.
So what is Enzyme therapy and how it is different to chemical peel?
Enzyme therapy enhances , lifts and firms the skin. It increase circulation, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage tightens and strengthens the skin through enhanced collagen production.
Be warned the therapy session is long that it can take up to 45minutes to an hour however it lasts about 2 weeks so you need to go for treatment every second week until your therapist can move you to the next treatment.
It costs about R600 which I think is totally worth it.
Chemical Peel according to Doc shop is a treatment in which an acid solution is used to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. In performing chemical peels, physicians apply alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA), or phenol to the skin.Darker-skinned patients and individuals with heart problems are not ideal candidates. Potential chemical peel candidates should be aware that the treatment may take an hour or more, and may require sedation. Yikes
Before you undergo the enzyme treatment you will fill in a form- has questions that include- what products do you use on your skin? do you drink water? have you had surgery? I guess it is to determine your skin problems and the products your skin can withstand
Therapist will deep cleanse the skin.
This cleanser draws out toxins from your skin.
Therapist will apply an exfoliate.
The Amino acid exfoliate will prepare your skin for the Enzyme therapy mask.
Your therapist will steam your face for 10 minutes +.
Your therapist will use a comedone pusher or needle to remove and extract white heads. This technique will be followed by the therapist using use to reduce redness and swelling.
Your therapist will apply the Enzyme mask, she will advise that it will have a burning sensation but when mine was applied I felt nothing.
The mask stays on for 45 minutes. The mask will start to tighten, this is when the enzyme mask really starts to work by flushing fresh blood and nutrients throughout the skin network, oxygenating the skin tissues and improving lymphatic drainage to detoxify the skin.
Finally your therapist will apply a Dmk gels and serums to your face that help to boost skin immunity and produce collagen.
Your therapist will also use a DMK mist on your face to ensure that the serum and gels go deeper in your skin.
Your skin will react to the treatment for the next 2 days after that you will glow baby.
The nicest thing about the enzyme therapy is that the results are visible the moment you step out of the treatment room.
Go out there and get your glow up 🙂
